fringe is in :)

chain fringe accessories
From Michael Kors bags to Zara boots, when it came to accessories, last fall was all about fringe. Contrary to the usually low survival rate of most meteoric fashion movements, the flapper-meets-tribal fad has flouted conventional notions of a trend’s typical one-season lifespan. So brush the dust off of your moccasins because, this spring, fringe is definitely still in.
You don’t have to dig the Western vibe to embrace a fringed look this spring. Skip the tasseled blouses and skirts – which can be a little too cowgirl for comfort – and don a sparkly mini (a la 1920s flapper) instead. A fringed little black dress or shimmering silver number are sophisticated alternatives to the yee-haw feel of some daytime pieces. On the other hand, if you’re up for playing cowgirls and Indians, channel your inner Pocahontas with a pair of fringed sandals.

For those of you who don’t like to wear your trend on your sleeve, choose an accessory with subtle fringe detailing or tassels, and simply nod towards fashion’s affection du jour. Whether you prefer to incorporate seamlessly a trendier article into your ensemble, or flaunt it loud and proud, remember to avoid overkill. Don’t even think about pairing a fringed piece of clothing with fringed accessories – you’ll look ridiculous. One well-executed trend is all you need to create a visual impact.
